i agree on this, they could have not watered it down..the inventory system blows..so does the leveling system has a fine story though they could have at least gone as far as to make it like dragon age for the inventory and skill system..so it could still be technically an rpg instead we get an interactive movie/action/adventure game and what is with mousing a small normandy all over the place damn things so tiny it hurts my eyes.

*el gaspo* Seriously?! Boring? I found most of the KotOR2 party boring. T3, Hanharr, G0-T0, Disciple... Handmaiden and Atton to an extent... I've never completed a female character playthrough because Disciple is that much of a ****tard. But Kreia?!

I loved her dialogue, teachings and betrayal. Despite how wrong it was, flirting with her was extremely fun. Especially seeing as flirting with Visas gave no lulz and flirting with Handmaiden usually ended up with her hating you. Don't get me wrong, she's no Bastilla... but her responses were funny enough . I also like the perspective she teached the Exile. Not wanting him to be either good or bad. And when you would run around on the Ebon Hawk speaking to characters about their stories and stuff, she was usually the first one I went to

Visas was cool... being VA'd by Kelly Hu gets her bonus points as well .

Can't remember much of Mira tbh. I remember her fight against Hanharr, and running into the mines as she couldn't set them off. Then using Hanharr to fight her, and it being incredibly hard I also remember enjoying her more before I made her a Jedi. Sentinels suck. I liked her spunk though

big up all da people from the westside crew

Too bad the story kinda sucks on KOTOR II

I've heard this from a few people. I played Knights 2 once. But it was the opening sequence and I only got to play about 5 minutes into it. I didn't like how you started out as a Jedi. I liked becoming a Jedi later on. But of course, starting out as one gives you more time to get more sweet Jedi skills.

Luckily, KOTOR2 isn't a Bioware game. It was made by Obsidian.

It's not that the story sucks--you can't really say that because it's incomplete. Half the game isn't there. So nothing makes sense.

Which, by the way, is Obsidian's modus operandi. All of their games have significant parts missing or are hugely bugged.

It's unfortunate that they tend to inherit projects from Bioware, so although the first game is well made (KOTOR1, NWN1), the second is a bungled wreck (KOTOR2, NWN2).

In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

I would have to agree with Mass Effect there, one of the greatest franchises to date in my opinion.

    Agreed.

yea..i guess i slipped on that one. been a looooooong time since i played KOTOR series but i'd say both KOTOR and ME series were very emotive and good. i just got my copy of ME2 and i was blown away. and like CHU's review of the game says that it makes u feel like being hit by Lucas's Star Wars when it first came out. a very elaborate space saga. hope to see a movie on the ME series sometime in the near future. and i really hope that with ME3 it gets even better.

    KOTOR 1!

I still remember being shocked when you found out you were Darth Revan. The story, mechanics, and music were all top notch. It's one of those games I still have to replay at least once a year.
I'm like totally in the Army, dood.
