Is there gonna be an update to the trainers that could make all the upgrades available to research or at least a way to edit them in for research available?
(Out of subject question: Is there a chance that there will be a trainer coming soon for free accounts or since because the game is still new i'll have to wait a few months?)

I cannot answer your first question, but the public release should be April 13, 2010.

All research wont be a trainer option, you get specific research for doing missions etc
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
