This is just for those that find sidequests alot fewer and may not know about the following things.

I personally also thought that there were very few sidequests in this game. At first I thought it was just them being lazy, but this is Bioware, so I reminded myself about anomaly detected when you scan planets, and there was my error. Basically if you go to other systems and scan their planets, sometimes there will be sidequests, it will say Anomaly detected and yeah. Just for those that don't know yet about this. Have fun!

I have read there is also maps you can buy on the Asari homeworld that will open up other side quests.

there are Starmaps u can buy. in the city illidan i think it was.

I have not goten them all yet but u i have yet to see a planet u scan an land on other then a mission

I have also not seen any tanks.

even tho theres one comeing in upcomeing DLC

yep in Illium, won't say where cause it might contain spoilers, but you can get maps there that open up other systems.
