Hey everyone!

I got The Saboteur the other day and got it installed with no problems, but the game crashes during the Grand Prix race at the very beginning of the game. It crashes at the exact same place, so it may be having trouble loading a specific file. I patched it with the 1.03b patch and got the same result. Searched for a fix and found nothing.

Would someone want to help me out and play from the beginning through the end of the race mission, then send a savegame to me?

It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or so and it would mean so much to me! This simple problem is all that is keeping me from playing the rest of the game!

are you sure its not your graphics card thats crashing the game

try this

1- go to my document>Mygames>The Saboteur > Save game > Config.txt
2- find the refresh rate and make it 60
3- find vsync and change it to 0
4-write this line under the vsync line "" Windowed 1 "" without the quotes
5- File>Save ... File>Exit
6- Run Game it should work

i now its windowed mode but this worked for me
lets hope a new patch will be out soon

Nope, no go. I'm pretty confident that it's just having trouble accessing a file (cinematic, etc.).

I've got a GeForce 9600 GSO for the record, 3GB RAM, 1.8GHz Duo-Core.

I'm pretty confident that a savegame will get me past it. I've tried just about everything else.
