Hi, i have a little problem. In the beggining of the suicide mission, i keep losing the squad member that is supposed to open the door. All squad is loyal and upgraded. I tried with Tali and Jacob, but no matter how fast i open the valves (the bar meter is always green), they will die when the door is closing. Help!

you will still lose legion there is an alternative way to do the final mission I haven't figure it out yet.

I'll try Legion. He's also fully upgraded(shield 2/2, sniper gun).

strange legion never died for me, BUT jack always does no matter what (i did not have loyal because i choose miranda when she and jack fought,

here is what you do all loyal max ship upgrades and tons of weopon upgrades, legion is the one to open the door miranda leads the second team with garrus and thane with you.

2. samara to do the biotic thing, miranda to lead second team once again (DO NO CHOSE THANE TO LEAD HE WILL BE SHOT) if you do not have jack loyal to you send her with the crew. jack will die but the crew will not.

3. chose miranda and legion to come with you at the last part
no one should die unless someone is unloyal

Hm I will have to try that mix and match the party members to see which way works

I personally used Tali for the open the valve thingies, and she lived though it, Only person who died at the end was the doctor lol.

So I've done a lot of experimentation on this and received a lot of feedback as well. Here's what we know so far --

--Specialist - Pretty easy choice, Tali or Legion are the best. Garrus might work but I've not tested him.

--Leader of Squad 1 & 2 - Pick someone who knows how to lead a unit, as opposed to a loner like Thane or Grunt. Miranda works well, as does Garrus.

--Escort - This one is hard to mess up, seems like you can pick a lot of people and still do alright. You'll want someone who values life. I go with Jacob.

--Biotic shield - I go with Samara, but Subject Zero can work as well. The important thing here is to pick a pure biotic. Hybrids like Miranda, Jacob, or Thane should be avoided.

Also, it's important that you wrap up all N7 missions, all available recruitment/loyalty missions, and all ship upgrades before going on the Spoiler: mission. Delaying too long after you complete the Spoiler: mission can cause casualties.
