    Regarding the Mega Trainer (Patch #8 01.18.2010), Unlimited Health, Ammo, Grenades, N....

    Has anybody else having problems with the latest patch? I think steam has updated and the Mega trainer won't work.

    Mine also seems to have updated (I randomly got the "Steam has finished downloading Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2" message), as for the trainer I don't know because I'm not using it yet.

    Yeah, I just noticed that. I was about to play some more Spec Ops, and then right as I go to run it, it starts downloading something VERY small for MW2. Same with the multiplayer.

    This must have been a stealth patch to prevent trainers, because I have not seen any update notes on this matter.

    So, you mean that the new update to the Steam client fixed this?

    well have a look at it it said it fixed a steam api crash so it updated MW2 naturally

    The latest Trainer doesn't work with this patch, unfortunately...And instead crashes it.
