Try using the no-cd fix with it.

you can get no-cd fixes at GameCopyWorld.
PS. I take no responsability if you break your installation of the game by using the no-cd fix. And remember when overwriting files, Always make a backup first.
EDIT: I just checked GCW and there's not a game fix/no-cd fix for GREED yet.

I had peek at the disc version of GREED and it doesn't seem to require the disc to play, so I doubt there will be a no cd fix for it. :\
