Not really. Normally I ask what the joke was.

It all depends on what kind of opinion I'm seeking.

It differs. Sometimes I'll use it to change a mood, other times I'll use music to enhance my current mood.

Not really, I'm cool to some people, to others, no.

Never. I'm almost always on my side.

Not unless the light would give some substantial benefit.

I listen. If I don't, I'm liable to wind up saying something stupid.
