On the contrary. I honesty did not want to get into another biblical debate, but I do have a problem with people insulting me and my faith so blatantly.

In 1947 the world learned about what has been called the greatest archeological discovery of the century. In caves of the Dead Sea, ancient jars were discovered containing the now famous Dead Sea Scrolls. From these scrolls, it is evident that a group of Jews lived at a place called Qumran from about 150 BC to 70 AD. The find included the earliest manuscript copy yet known of the complete Book of Isaiah, and fragments from almost every single book in the Old Testament.

"Insulting your faith" Sounds like a knee jerk reaction to an observation and I'm not sure how what you posted is relevant to what I stated.
I said that the English translations from the original Hebrew texts are relatively incarcerate.

And I just proved you wrong. The paragraph I just typed out states that all of the translations are correct to the "T".

And calling my entire religion "A Lie" is an insult.

I'm saying the TRANSALTION process makes it inaccurate English is very different language in case you don't know.

Yes. Of course it wont be an exact translation from the 2000+ year old Hebrew language to modern day English. That's with any language.

So yeah. You win on that point good job. Doesn't mean the entire religion is built upon lies.

Lets not forget the old testament.

For what it's worth I never said religion is built on lies I commented why I believe so many people are blindly devoted to it and the rest of what I said didn't apply to foxxy see as he said he chose his region of his own back (I was directing my comment at people who do).

I can't speak for Hebrew to English, but German to English translation troubles has lead to the dissemination of an incorrect quote.

"War...is the continuation of politics by other means".

The German word "politik" is the key here.

It means politics, yes.

But there is another translation, one which in the CONTEXT OF THE REST OF THE TEXT IS OBVIOUSLY MORE CORRECTLY: "POLICY".

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

"War...is the continuation of POLICY by other means!!!!!!!"
