Hmm religion... I've always found it a good method of subjugation and organisation of the populace, other than that it serves almost no purpose at all.
    Ayy lmao

How to understand what it is to believe in something. Guide by Neo7:

Sing this song with power. With pride. With meaning:

    Theme Song - WCG
    Link

    (Beyond...)
    (Go beyond...)
    (Go beyond the game...)
    Ooooooooooh, yeah! (yeah! yeah! yeah!)

You and I we have met before,
Through the magic of the moment in Cyberspace.
Driven by a passion to win,
Playin' heart to heart, face to face.
    The challenge of a lifetime,
    Stands before us now!

    Beyond the game!
    Through a portal into cyberspace!
We have come to decide our fate!
    We're here to celebrate!
    Beyond the game!

    Beyond the game!
At last the moment's at hand!
All we need is to believe we can!
    We'll make our stand!
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
    The World Cyber Games!

The teams are here; the spirit is right!
We're connected now in a powerful way!
    We celebrate our diversity,
Around the world with a passion to play!
    The planet will be watching!
    The message will be heard!

    Beyond the game!
Through the portal into cyberspace (oooh, yeah!)!
We have come to decide our fate!
    We're here to celebrate!
    Beyond the game!

    Beyond the game!
At last the moment's at hand!
All we need is to believe we can!
    We'll make our stand!
    Beyond the game!

In the shadow of the golden gate
We have come to decide our fate
    We're here to celebrate
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)

    Beyond the game!
At last the moment's at hand
All we need is to believe we can
    We'll make our stand
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
Beyond the game! (Beyond the game!)
    The World Cyber Games!

For the third time in a few months, I am going to make only one post on a topic.

I believe in God. I believe in Him as a person, a literal being that commands the flow of life. I worship Him as Creator, Lord, and Savior. And, I also believe in Satan. Now, before you go all "contradictory, much?" on me, re-read what I posted. "I believe in Satan." I believe that Satan really does exist and is a literal being. I believe that he is the epitome of evil. I believe in the Bible and hold all of it's statements as true.

Consider this a statement of my beliefs. As I said, I won't be replying to any comments on this topic so don't bother trying to make me in case you're one of those people that enjoy doing that sort of thing.

Basically, I agree with Noble. God exists, Satan exists, the Bible is true. Believe different? So be it. I'm not going to make a fuss over it.

@FFQ: Thanks for the heads up, I already know that. But during editation, one monk tries to reach the higher powers. This is a form of addressing him IMO (I may be wrong)...And this is the same reason why people pray - To address god. Though I find meditation to be a more powerful way to do so, I do think that both have nearly the same purpose.
Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

I believe in God, but I also believe that people do put too much faith in him. I think that God gives us the ability of free will so we can accomplish stuff on our own, not for praying to him and expecting things to fall out of thin air.

    I'll give you a scenario.

I believe that there is an Elephant on the roof of every house in the world.

I also believe that these Elephants are invisible, as written in the sacred book of Elephantania.

Whenever a Human approaches, the Elephant moves out of the way, so the Human can pass.

I must worship this Elephant, otherwise an Elephant will spank me endlessly in the afterlife.

Looking into it, this belief is as valid as any other religion. We cannot prove that this Elephant will 'Spank me endlessly', because it is after death, and there is no way of confirming it from beyond the grave. In a way, just like 'Worship him, or you will go to hell' which is what most of the Christians quote. It scares you into convertion, and then scares you into following the commandments.

It's kinda like Santa Claus- Be good this year, and he will get you presents. Be bad, you get coal in your stocking. It scares little children into acting nice.

This is my opinion. Christianity is something plausible, even if some people find it ridiculous. There is no way it can be proven wrong, nor right. I only choose atheism because I personally find it to make more sense. I just don't like it when Christians scare people such as atheists by telling them they are to go to hell.
    Im not even here tho

Whatever a person's religion is, if he believes in God he is not respected in todays world, as most people say that it's superstition.
I'm a religious person and I'm usually afraid of letting people know that, because they change their minds about me.

I sometimes doubt that God exists, but most of the times a surprising thing happens that makes me feel God is near me.
Just because we don't see something it doesn't mean that thing doesn't exist.
Maybe we don't have enough knowledge to prove that, yet.
