Empire: Total War Message Board  

I recently downloaded the new units (15 units) but they aren't available as of yet on my saved game. Do I need to start another game for them to become available? The last time I downloaded content from steam the new units showed up right away, even in a saved game....
I am currently on year 1788 if that helps, but all the units that are listed before under the late period have already shown up from the last downloaded content....I don't want to assume....

They should appear in thier designated city and with the needed reasearch which I'm sure you have.

I have all research done, even checked and it had what was available for each research, but still no units. Even started a new game as well....The other DLC has come up but still not for this one.....Time to have a chat with steam I guess.

Well I feel dumb now....
I restarted a previously saved game, which doesn't bring you to the screen for chapter 4. So upon a full restart of the game, I figured this out....
