I have no problems at all with the other options of the trainer, but i cant get Instant Unit Upgrade

Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.01, Speed Boost, Unlimited Ammo, Blind ....

I have no problems at all with the other options of the trainer, but i cant get Instant Unit Upgrade to work though...after activating it, my units wont get upgraded even after a hell lot of killing...any advice on how to use this option?
