So, I was brushing my teeth just now and I started to think about all of the great TV shows that are no longer on the air. Monk recently aired it's final episode (it wasn't canceled, but the writers and staff felt it was time to move on to other things) which triggered a small avalanch of shows that shouldn't have been cancled. If you're an avid fan of insom, you know where insom's logic leads to next. Either a: This would make an awesome tabletop RPG quest or, b: This would make an awesome thread on CHU.

    This is clearly option B.

So, if you had the chance to bring back, lets say, 3, television shows, what would they be and why?

Firefly is at the top of my list. If you've never seen the show, please hop on over to Hulu and watch it, every episode of the one season they aired is available, and serenity, the movie continuation, is an excellent piece of sci-fi cinema. (please don't watch it before the series though, as that would ruin it all)

The Riches is number two on the list. Eddie Izzard's drama about a family of Gypsy con artists that wedge their way into an upper-middle class lifestyle. The writing was brilliant and the acting was superb. The falling ratings in season 2 were unfounded in my opinion, thanks to the lemmings who'd rather watch season ninety eight of American idol. It is also available on Hulu, I highly recommend it, although I do warn you, season 2 ends with a cliffhanger that will likely remain unresolved.

I'd like to put monk in as my third spot, as it was a great show. However, if the writers weren't feeling it any longer, I'd rather they end it while it was good, rather than let it go down the drain. It is for that reason, I reserve my third spot for the fateful day that they cancel mythbusters, and I start writing death threats to discovery executives.

The A-Team I remember watching reruns of it on TV before I left Kindergarten

The Original Gi-Joe Cartoon, nothing had more of a bad ass theme song then that...

Fullmetal Alchemist, Its not officially gone yet but they dont have it in English and its so boring in Japaneese. Its my favorite show.

Pokemon - The original series. That series was the best, and my favorite show when I was younger.
    Popeye - An old favorite.
Berenstein Bears - Another favorite of mine when I was growing up. I used to love this show.

Hmmm, interesting question. I can't really think of anything that jumps out...like if Burn Notice was canceled...

However, I've always been a fan of Beast Wars when I was younger. Purchased the first few seasons a while back for nostalgia purposes.

I might as well add Monk to the list. I've always enjoyed the show and I'm probably going to miss it...

The only other show which comes to mind that I watched (and is canceled) is Fear Factor...

Ooh man if they were to cancel Burn Notice I think I would probably go postal on the USA people.

Crossing Jordan was always a great show that just kind of ended without resolving many of it's great questions.

I can't really remember if Las Vegas was canceled or I just lost track of it so that's a maybe.

And I think it was called Hawaii, it was about 2 cops in Hawaii and was rather good but was canceled after the first season.

    1) Sonic Underground. I have never seen the finale aired.

    2) Buffy The Vampire Slayer. One reunion episode would be enough!

    3) Hellsing. Need more Alucard!
