Well, When i try to press "~" to enable to console, it does not work. I am playing GoTY edition v1.7, Dose anyone have any ideas? I already tried adding -console to the shortcut but it did not work.

I thought mine didn't work either, but the text entry is in the bottom left corner of the screen. Hope this helps

i got the first verions of it and it dosent work i cant find it any were so what now

The solution to your problem might be solved Link. At the very bottom of the page it lists a few ways to fix the problem. I had this issue as well (I just bought GotY edition) and it turned out that I just needed to disable my xbox controller in the settings menu to just use keyboard/mouse. After that, my console would come right up, I'd type my codes in, then re-enable my controller.

Btw, for those wondering, I do prefer keyboard and mouse for this game, I just wanted to try it with a controller for once.

NOTE: The whole "Bugs" section of the linked page is pretty much devoted to fixing the missing console issue.
