DO NOT RUN with a steam version of this game, it crashes HL2. You have to have the DVD or CD version

There's something I'm not understanding here. Some of you seem to be saying that it is possible to install from the retail disk without having STEAM "capture" the install. How is that possible? Every time I install any game (including HL2) that's affiliated with STEAM it automatically becomes a STEAM game without input from me. How would I prevent it and why would I want to?

I'm not a trainer maker. That would be Caliber. The hierarchy around here is something like this.

Founders > Trainer Maker > Moderators > Authors > Unl. Members > Members.

In short, I'm not a Trainer Maker. I don't like trainers, and I don't use them. I write FAQs.

Also, I only contribute FAQs and Walkthroughs to the site. This doesn't give me power over PWizard.

There are tools out there to make your own Trainers though. You might look through them. And if you make a good trainer, you might even get it accepted here. I know some members have submitted trainers to CHU.

if your game crashing in steam version its problem you dont have direct 9 or good grapchic card or you have pirate version of steam
