Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

I can't type in any codes. The console will not appear.

Nevermind, I figured it out. But now I have a new issue, no trainer will work. The moment I start a trainer it crashes the game. Before you ask, yes I already went through the troubleshooting. I'm at a loss here, any help would be much appreciated.

My problem is when i tyre "spdevmap" my game will crash its say "Error" some help?

so how do i get the console down?

Oh, thats an easy answer, I was having trouble with that too, but then I figured it out... lol

You need to load up your game, click 'Options', then click 'Game Options' there should be 4 listed options, 'Show Blood', 'Enable Console', 'Subtitles', and 'Enable Crosshair'. Just make sure 'Enable Console' is checked 'YES', then you should be good to go.

Like i said, it happens to me quite often, because it sets my settings to the default settings which disables that.

if you want some cheats here they are:

open console and write seta thereisacow 1337 and then write cheats:

All weapons - give all
God mode - god
God mode but screen still shakes - demigod
No clipping mode - noclip
Flight mode - ufo
Enemies ignore you - notarget
Full ammunition - give ammo
Spawn indicated item - give
Set gravity; default is "39" - jump_height
Set speed; default is "1.00" - timescale
Add laser sight to all weapons - cg_LaserForceOn 1
Remove gun graphics - cg_drawGun
Zoom with any gun - cg_fov
Better vision - r_fullbright
Give RPG - give rpg
Give G3 - give g3
Give MP5 - give mp5
Give DRAGUNOV - give dragunov
Give BERETTA - give beretta

cheats working!

This was very fun playing game in third playthought with cheats.

I am running Windows7 X64 and the Trainers for both COD Modern Warfare as well as the newer version; Modern Warfare 2 don't work. For the first one; The trainer seems to start and you hear the voice telling you so. But none of the keys work and yes "numeric" is on because it tells you "trainer activated". They just do nothing to change the status of the game. Same true for typing in the "thereisacow 1337" that doesn't work in the first one for me and there doesn't seem to be anyway to pull up the console in 2. Also, I have played 2 all the way to the "Kill Shepard" sequence and cannot get the knife out of my body to kill Shepard with. The "F" just keeps blinking and you end up going through this endless cycle of attempting to get the knife out with no results. This game runs through Steam whcih stinks as far as I am concerned. No CS that I see any evidence of other than message boards where real answers to technical issues are often difficult to come by. I will look for patches through STeam but am not hopeful.
