Left 4 Dead 2 Message Board  

While downloading the trainer, I keep on having an Avast warning on the content of the downloaded file : it is infecte with Win32:malware-gen. Where is this coming from ?
I have tried to download another file from Cheathappens without getting this warning... ???

As proposed on the site, I have checked the file with Jotti. The result is clear for several antivirus programs (see below). But, is it surprising to get infected while trying to cheat with L4D2 ?...

There are no infected trainers being hosted on CHU. What you're getting is a false positive, due to the trainer having to track your keystrokes to know when to activate different options.

This is the first time ever any of your trainers have done this on my anti virus . I certainly hope it is a false positive. However please double check your side of things to make sure. It's better to be safe than sorry.
