From what I've seen in the demo, they clearly designed SupCom 2 for the 360. It feels...empty...compared to the first SupCom. This makes me sad because the first SupCom is the best RTS I've ever played. I'm still going to buy SupCom 2, and I hope the main game is much better than this demo. However, this game would have been SO much better if it was only made for PC.

Yea I have to agree that this game feels a bit more fast paced when compared to the original but if the demo is anything to go by it's lacking, no more tier building or upgrading, just researching. And it doesn't do much when you can build multiple research facilities to up your points faster.

I agree that the game is lacking, i'm not sure that you even get adjacency bonus anymore which was one of my favourite features of the first.

Also the textures are a little too colourful and the experimentals aren't as strong as they used to be.

That said though the game is still better than any other RTS for me and I can't wait to try the full version.

I love the new demo, the look of the game and enhanced (dare I say streamlined mechanics). I'll admit the main draw with the first game for me was building and unleashing experimentals so this second game seems to focus on building them faster and deploying more of them and I'm just fine with that. It's true the research tech tree is easy to max out if you spam research buildings. The new talking head campaign, not too impressed with, voice acting is flat and oh no is that Nolan North as UEFs Madux? This guy is like the Samuel L. Jackson of voice over work and he is no Nathan Drake in this game. Not getting this game for the campaign anyway so I don't care if it's a hit or miss. Don't really understand why GPG went with Square-Enix this time unless it was to upgrade the story. From the demo so far this might not have been the best decision but you can't really judge that from two missions.

What I'm looking forward to is skirmish combined with some nice, awesome CH trainers to go crazy on experimentals so I know I will have a blast with this new game. Marching a group of King Kryptor (walking weapons platform) Mechs across the battlefield, just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

Got the game pre-ordered through EB GAMES.

Developers, also should give up on bringing RTS games to the consoles. The only one that worked, but still had issues, was HALO WARS for the 360. The only reason it worked as well as it did was the (Age of Empires) developer which closed shop not longer after the game came out. They just can't get it in their heads you need a mouse and keyboard control system in these types of games. I never played the first Supcom on the 360, but on my high-end PC when you got a ton of action on screen the frame rates slowed down I can just imagine that the game would run like a slideshow on the 360.

The 360 version of SupCom was a disaster. Quite possibly the worst RTS game on the 360. My friend bought it, and he gave up after one hour. I just laughed, and told him to play RTS games on the good old PC. Why developers keep trying to make RTS games for consoles is beyond me.

I think the demo was brilliant (Not sick. Sick is bad) I think the demo is every bit as good as the first game. I wont be downloading a trainer for this because I think the dificulty level (from what I have seen in the demo) is perfect. It takes me an hour to complete each mission. Also I think the Graphics are very good (better than the first) in this. I cant wait to buy this on friday.
