Why doesn't it work in Spec Ops 2 player though? Isn't it just connecting me and my friend? Bypassing an actual server since there's no need for the server to host that stuff?

Because CHU doesn't condone multiplayer cheating. It ruins the fun for everyone else.

I can confirm the CH trainer works in Spec Ops: Solo
