Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

This thread is not the generalization of gifts (eg: Wynne likes books, Oghren likes alcohol, etc) but instead specific ones that grant you "cut-scenes" I have only truly encountered two in my first playthrough and it made me wonder what other ones there were.

Some ones I know:
Zevran - Give him "Dalish Gloves" the gift version which is found in the Brecilian Forest/Werewolf Lair (As far as I can remember) and this JUMPS the relation straight up. (+14)

Leliana - Give her "Andraste's Gift" which is a flower that stands out as it's blue and is the only flower that im aware of that opens up a item menu. These can be found in Haven and Redcliffe. (Unsure if it's randomly generated)(+16)


As far as I know, the approval gained varies from character to character, and/or speech options to speech options.

Anyone else encounter these things?

In castle Redcliffe you'll find Alistair mother amulet, you can find somewhere Duncan's shield, also for Alistair
Two Grimoir's ar for Morrigan (one you'll find after you kill her mother.)
Sten sword is for sten of course.I don't know where to find some of the items.

Found in chest in West Brecilian Forest

Sten's Sword
Found after quest chain starting in Calenhad Docks, then to Frostback Mountains, then to Dwyn in Redcliffe.
