I'm thinking of downgrading to 2mbps because the people with that level of service are guaranteed that speed whereas with 5mbps there are no guarantees and the speed often drops to 56k-levels as all the WoW players come online. Plus, I'll save $30 a month.

HOLY **** u save 30$??? All i got to pay up every month for internet is just 750INR. That comes to 16.2477USD. Or are you talking of yearly/half yearly plans or something????

It's currently downloading at 831.7 kbps, which about as fast as I've ever seen Steam download.

oh u lucky fella...on my best day..i get 180-200kbps from a 2mbps connection.

Honestly, I'm not wasting money on MW2. It's a waste overall methinks. I'd rather save it for AvP3, Assassin's Creed 2, Postal 3, Bioshock 2, and Mass Effect 2, all of which are hitting stores for PC next year (All but one within the Jan-Feb area, which hits my birthday nicely).

I just hope I can get my new video card and CPU this Christmas, otherwise I'm going to have to settle for less than the best settings...
