Both Crysis and Crysis Warhead use massive amounts of memory in their respective last levels so can sometimes crash on those levels because of that ( many people believe the Crytek engine for the Crysis games has a memory leak flaw that hasn't been plugged , judging by their forums and other posts on Google ) . A workaround for this though is to switch to playing in DX9 mode on the problem levels . If you're already using DX9 mode then try a graphic level lower . High settings in DX9 mode are pretty impressive anyway , so if you switch from High settings in DX10 mode to High settings in DX9 mode the graphics are hardly any less inferior especially if you immerse yourself in the game . Yeah , my game is the retail version so it could be a STEAM version problem inspite of what I've said , but try what I've said because there's a reasonable chance it's the memory leak bug I've mentioned rather than the trainer
