Is there a way to stop the timer in the special ops mode either through a .cfg edit or via a future trainer?

That's a good question. I'm pretty sure they eventually will come up with a Mega Trainer with all those options.

I use the in-game cheat of either "noclip" (essentially walk through walls to get to the end really fast and even beneath the level) or the "timescale" cheat to slow the game down and do things in bullet-time essentially.
