Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

So, this was a bit strange...I'm on my second playthrough and decided to romance Leliana...again... But rather than the first game, where I slept with Morrigan first and then romanced Leliana and then dumped Morrigan, this time I did very little to persuade Morrigan (though still initiated the romance) and then romanced Leliana all the way up to 100 and slept with her. Then she asks me to break it off with Morrigan, which I do, no surprise there. Morrigan gets ****ed and I lose 30 points with her. THEN, however, I schmooze Morrigan (w/ gifts, etc...) and manage to get her approve up to 100 but it says "Friendly" instead of "Love", as I expected. The odd thing, however, is that I spoke to her and she starts talking about "love" and how it's a bad thing. I was a bit confused by this as I had already chosen Leliana over Morrigan but I decided to go along with it and tell her I loved her back and that it wasn't a bad thing...she acts disgusted but somehow I still earn approval points. THEN, in camp I talk her again and I get the "my tent is cold..." dialog and I sleep with her...strange...especially since AFTERWARD I talk to Leliana but this time she doesn't ask me to break it off...very odd.

Okay, and NOW, I just talked to Morrigan again, and now SHE wants me to dump LELIANA! So bizarre...

not at all, sounds like a pretty accurate depiction of real life when romancing two ladies.

Haha, actually, when Morrigan asked me to ditch Leliana she said something about us having shared a bed and one of the possible responses is to say that maybe Leliana could join us...hehe...if only...'cept now, AFTER having ditched Leliana, Morrigan won't sleep with me...what the frick...

Actually, a friend of mine says in his game Leliana and Morrigan are talking to each other.

Thats and odd one there, hell in one of my runthroughs Shale and Morrigan flirted back and forth in their random talks to one another...This game has very odd mechanics behind it. Albeit interesting ones at that.
