Because Aspyr Media are lazy ******* wastes of oxygen. They probably didn't put anything *in* the the patch, it just overwrites a copy of the files that are there.

kaspersky detects 1 trojan and it never detected anything on any of the other trainers from cheat happens, i was wondering if it's just because it messes with the game, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also having the same problem. And worse after downloading and 'cleaning' the trainer. I cannot use it.

Two words. False Positive.
It's caught by antivirus software because it hacks the data of the game while it's running, just like a trojan does to the system itself. Antivirus software can't make the distinction (Be thankful for that), so you need to put all of your cheathappens trainers into a single directory (I have them in "Documents/My trainers" for the trainer manager) and add that directory to your whitelist/exceptions.
If you clean the trainer, you're destroying its ability to intercept and change the game's data.
