    I used
    runscript createitem 1
    last night and it made a 'Letter of Conscription'
    I tried using it again today but it doesn't seem to be doing anything anymore.. but it still outputs the 'SUCCESS' message.

    Also note:
    It's possible to modify your current save games by opening
    Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters\NAME\Saves\SAVENAME\savegame.das

    You can then navigate 'SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST' > SAVEGAME_BACKPACK
    Each number represents an item in your back pack, you can change the amount of each items you have.
    (Havn't tested whether some of these options actually work)
    Variables of interest:
    ITEM_BASE/COST
    ITEM_STACKSIZE
    SAVEGAME_ITEM_INFINITE

    The 'SCRIPTVARTABLE' holds data like runes on weapons and such.

    Ok I don't know if any more information has been found out about the "create item" script but I have some discoveries of my own. I opened the file designeritems.erf (DragonAge\packages\core\data) with microsoft word 2003 and it was able to decrypt the first couple of pages.

    I tested the following scripts:

    1 runscript createitem
    2 runscript createitem bec100im_duncan_longsword.uti
    3 runscript createitem bnd300im_prisoner_clothes.uti
    4 runscript createitem bec100im_wedding_f.uti
    5 runscript createitem gen_im_acc_amu_am16.uti

    and so on and so on....

    Anyway every script returned "success" however nothing was every created, at least that I could see. Maybe I am using the wrong codes or there may be a different script for creating equipment.

    "Createitem", though a valid command line, is not in the script for the action. You can get a mod from DA Nexus that will allow for "additem" in place of "createitem" that works a treat. If you have the DA toolset, you can get any of the codes you desire and you can also change the properties of those items if they are enchanted as you see fit doing it from a game save.

    Could someone give me the EXACT way of opening the console for Steam Ultimate edition?

    Ive tried doing it how it says for the cheats but it doesnt appear to be working. the game pauses when space is pressed and the keys open the shortcuts so obviously the console isnt opened.

    EXACT help in enabling the console would be appreciated, thx.


    Nevermind, according to dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console devconsole doesnt work the normal way with the steam ultimate edition so i have to enable the console the hard way, thx anyway.
