I have the following total list for the addapproval script: (note: most are already mentioned elsewhere, but for the sake of completion...)

1 - Alistair
2 - unknown if any
3 - Morrigan
4 - Wynne
5 - Shale (note: character made available as part of DLC)
6 - Sten
7 - Zevran
8 - Oghren
9 - Leliana

Also, for those who are trying it and not getting it to work after a certain point, please note that once you've max'd out the approval level with a specific character (you'll know you've done it when you look at their character sheet and the bar under their image is all the way to the right) using the script won't generate any further change. You won't even see something that says Alistair approves +0 or the like.

I had to type "runscript zz_addapproval" in order for mine to work. hope that helps.
