Yep, also DebugMode=1, and so on... however, I've been trying to get the console work in other ways, editing data files... no success so far, I'm going to get some sleep, see you tomorrow! Good Luck!

Doesn't making a "command.ini" file inside the "bin_ship" folder and adding the line "enabledeveloperconsole=1" inside it work for you?
It appears to activate the console for me but I have no codes to feed it...
Also, the console won't show up, but it works as you can't move with the keys when it's open.
Another strange thing, when pressing R with the console open alot of letters and numbers appear on the top of the screen.. strange.

Well I have some good news and bad news about the console for DAO. Taken from the official toolset wiki:
"The in-game console is normally not accessible. To enable it run the game with a command line parameter "enabledeveloperconsole". Then, when the game is running, press the tilde key (~) to bring up the console. This is a prompt in the upper left corner of the screen. The console was used extensively in development for debugging and testing purposes, but in the finished version of the game there's only one console command available; "runscript". "
SO unless someone writes a script to add XP or add some item or whatnot, it's not going to be terribly useful.
