Wow, Why did this thread die? no one has any other guys to share?
Well, the current trend with many modders is to pile on as many "carnage" barrels as can fit on the NON-barrel parts to wind up getting hyper-insanity damage ratings (many many thousands is VERY easy).
i.e.
gd_weap_combat_shotgun.UniqueParts.BoomStick_barrel3_Carnage
machine guns and SMG's, with a dove barrel in the barrel slot, all the rest of the parts as carnage barrels, title it with hyperion invader for instant-clip-burst-fire, and perhaps a bastard/***** moniker with a "twisted" or other nifty prefix.
one fast example (Using JackQW's editor, not the Rev10):

The NEXT TO LAST ZERO is item quality, increase that to match your level range, like 2 for level 20-30.
That -specific- one will result in a weapon (again, whatever type of gun you make it) that "should" fire an entire magazine in one click, it will also have effectively infinite ammo, EXTREMELY high damage, and on top of all that, it has Chimera elemental effect...
Keep in mind, it's quite easy to change it up, I quite like having "standard" firing guns without the hyperion invader over-kill, swap out the chimera for 4x dedicated elemental effect, and so on and so forth...
The template is there however for you to build upon if you want to have super-high damage and the rest is interchangeable as you desire to make your own super-duper-weapon.
Be forewarned, things with AOE or rocket launchers and so forth can REALLY cause problems for you since the blast radius can easily encompass you with your targets, so you might be best off sticking with bullet based weapons.
Also, it CAN be done with Eridian weapons too, but their projectiles travel so slowly and are so prone to not fitting in narrow places or past the edges of doors/corners, I find them somewhat less useful than a regular bullet, but don't let that discourage you from experimenting!
@knightpress-
you are my new internet hero. Thank you for your informative posts and your effective information hoarding pretender, attention ***** banishing techniques. Great Job!
No problem, I just have no patience for those that -act- like they know some secret which they've done nothing but plagiarize from someone else's work.
I hope you like some of the amusing weapons I've posted and have picked up the tricks on how to make pretty much whatever you want.
My personal weapon, the Glorious Ogre. I've been tweaking this here and there ever since I made it, but this is pretty much the final version now.

It's multiplayer-legal (mostly :P), all parts will show up. And it even looks like a beautiful gun. The Atlas colour scheme is quite aesthetically pleasing. It's a machine gun, so your Rifleman mods will be useless but really, it's no loss: It's a powerful gun. Even in a 4-player game, you can take down Arch Guardians in less than one clip, and that's when the others aren't supporting you.
I'm not a fan of over-frankensteined weapons, I like my guns to actually shoot bullets.
I'm also not a fan of the Dove barrel or the Tediore bodies. I use those parts for genuine barrels and bodies that do good damage. They die faster that way, so you use less ammo, meaning even a single Support Gunner will keep your downtime to a minimum. Heck, I like being the Support Gunner. It's my main char.
Seriously, if you think ammo is a concern, you're obviously not playing right.
...with the dove barrel, one doesn't even have the thought of ammo being a concern cross their mind
I agree that Frank-Gun-Stein (it rolls of the tongue better) weapons may not be as aesthetically pleasing, particularly some where there simply are no parts present for things like stocks, magazines, fore grips, and so forth, however anyone looking at the gun for any significant amount of time is going to be the operator, as anyone else will either be expunged by it or be thanking heaven they are working with you rather than against you.
At the end of the day, all of my "super guns" are strictly novelty as far as I'm concerned, I can make guns that do tens of thousands of damage, fire enormous magazines of ammo in a single click at preposterous rates of fire, and even the last boss in the game is a one-shot-kill, but it's as much to see "if I can" as it is actually finding that resulting weapon.
