    just use the workaround

    What workaround?

BtW, here the game (Sith Ed., 1.1) crashes a few times, maybe if i lose the mission. I dont know whether its a problem of the game or the trainer.

I'm having trouble with the offline key for the trainer. It doesn't seem to work.

I have to be hooked up to the internet and I have to actually connect to the internet by opening a browser for the trainer to function, even though I have the offline key in place.

Your AV or something may be blocking the trainer from reading the key. Also, it will only look for it if the internet is completely disconnected.

Because it's a game-killer, I'm not running any AV at all when I'm offline (which is most of the time), I don't know what else could be blocking the trainer from reading the key, can you suggest some things to check or disable?

And I've already tried it when the computer was physically disconnected; it didn't work, so that isn't it.

When I'm physically unplugged from the internet, I open the trainer, it gives me the authentication required message, but it doesn't find the key, even though they're in the same location on the computer. I then have to physically hook into the internet and then actually open a browser (it doesn't work to simply be hooked into the internet) to be able to use the trainer. Once the authentication happens, I can then close the browser and unhook from the internet again.

I frankly don't understand why the trainer has to be authenticated (every time it's used, no less) once it's downloaded. I've never run into this with trainers before.

I'd hate to have to set up a dedicated line or wireless connection for this computer for just this one program.

Any chance there will be a trainer that enables dismemberment?

DF2/MOTS, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy all had ways to enable dismemberment; I'm disappointed this one does not.

Yes, the 1.1 trainer works with Steam.

One thing you might want to keep in mind though is that the unlimited upgrade points option requires you to actually buy an upgrade before the game will register that you have the extra points. This means that you need to have enough points in each of the three fields to buy at least one upgrade in all of them for the counter to refresh. If you don't, you'll still see your old upgrade point value in the field and will be unable to buy any upgrades that cost more than that.

For example, if you have 1 upgrade point in Force Powers but all of the available options cost 2 points or more, you won't be able to buy them even with the trainer option enabled until you get another upgrade point properly and buy one of the upgrades. When you do, the upgrade point value will refresh to 255 and you can buy all the other powers (that aren't locked, at least). This needs to be done separately for each of the 3 fields; refreshing the value in one field will not affect the 2 others.
