SPOILER WARNING! Do not read if you want to play through the game and learn all of this information for yourself. Those who do want to know RIGHT NOW, continue reading.

So, in my honest opinion, this is by far my favorite game in the Soul Calibur Series. You get to play as Seigfried (Nightmare) through basically the entire game, and really delve into the story of how he found Soul Edge, what it did to him, and how he met the other characters along the way. These include Ivy, Mitsurugi, Taki, Sophitia, Astaroth, and others.

Gameplay is great, though at times irritating depending on your swing sensitivity. You use the Wii Remote to perform vertical and horizontal slashes, as well as knock-back stabs. These can be combined together in multiple ways for wickedly high damage combos. The nunchuk is mandatory to use as well for dodging and guarding. While doing either, swinging the remote will combo with your dodge for a quick sidestep-attack combo. Guarding and swinging the remote just as soon as an NPC attacks will cause a powerful counter attack which is great for boss fights.

Speaking of which, the boss fights are much better in Legends, than in previous SC titles, even if they are VERY repetitive (you fight almost every boss three times ). The bosses are large scale, and actually make you take time to learn which attacks you can guard, or dodge/counter etc.

Again, I can't get over the storyline, it explains a LOT of what was not explained in the previous games. If you are reading this, you obviously don't care about spoilers, so I'd recommend checking out some of the many YouTube videos for story cut scenes, and/or gameplay because I don't feel like typing out the whole story right now.

Again, in my opinion, a great addition to your collection of Wii games.
