Race Driver: GRID Message Board  

This is starting to annoy me, i must have tried this track for atleast 30 times, still im not even close to finish the fourth track, the time runs out on me.

Im driving the 11m euro car with over 400km/h, i dont get it.

It doesn't matter if you finish or not .you just have to be the first one when the time runs out .
I got my 2 millions from that .

well it seems to matter before the timer runs out im nr 1 but as soon the timer is on 0 im nr 16.



when the timer runs out the race doesnt stop for some reason, im allowed to drive still.

its the rep im after not money, got the trainer running.

and again number 1 time runs out im nr 8.

what happens for you when the time runs out ?

Problem is theres no amounts of laps you need to drive, so what am i supposed to do when the timer runs out ?

if i go to garage it ask me to drive again.

i figured it out, it was the trainer somehow blocking me to finish the 24 hour le mans event.

could very well be option 5 and 6 causing problems.

that's le mans > 24 hours, no laps, no nothing. In real life there 4 categories of cars racing, each category has a dozen of cars registered to race, 3-4 drivers per car. When time runs out, you have to be the first IN YOUR CLASS. It's the same in the game... 24 minutes (actually more like 12 minutes coz it's 1 sec real life for 2 secs in-game) and you only have one opponent to worry about, the others are in other classes, they don't matter.

When the time is over, the race is over both RL and in-game.

So it was pretty clear that the trainer was malfunctioning for you . Just activate wrecking ball and in gear option and knock your opponent off-track. That should leave you alone for the whole race.
