Although I somewhat agree with you, I'm able to play the game
There's only a few minor bugs, and us pirates have simply gotta wait for the official release to be uploaded, or wait for the new patch

"You guys are the resaon for things like SecuROM!"
So the people doing the cracking etc. aren't the reason? only the people downloading it?
    That's new.

And you people are the reason the majority of the pirating community don't pay for games after they download them - they're afraid they'll become one of you uppity types.
And for the record, the majority of the bugs in the cracked version exist in all three versions.

Actually, they had copy protection for as long as I've been playing games.
Considering that I owned an 8088 XT as my first computer... this should tell you something.
Copy protection is *NOT* new, its invasiveness and technical sophistication is.
While I hold no particular love for so-called pirates, I will point out that *Publishers* - of whom are the largest supporters of DRM - have never really needed a good reason to try to "protect" their investment from those dastardly customers ripping them off.

    Just a thought.

I would love to buy my games which I do most of the time.
but I have no money for that... if you can give me the money
to buy the games I would but in the meantime I will download
games that I can't afford myself... (Specially the one that have
    only SP and no MP)

There is no excuse for being a pirate. Whether you don't have enough money or just don't care, you are still resorting to stealing, which simply cannot be justified. People pay for games because they want to support the developer. If you support the developer, they will continue to make games you like.

Simply put, just don't pirate things. Research the game, ask people about it, and then make your purchase. Support the developer so that next year, you'll have something else to play.

I'm not going to lie, I'VE downloaded games in my time, but eventually when I muster up enough money I go out and buy those games if they ARE good and it deserves the price tag. I mean some games that EA pump out every year are just pathetic, they have re-made some of their games every year for the last decade now, and THAT sort of game developing just isn't worth the money at all, especially when they expect people to pay a full $60/£45 for it.

But good companies like Valve, I would NEVER dream about pirating any of their games EVER because they are one of the last good companies that comes out with quality games and supports the community. Not to mention the fact that they often give a lot of support to modders also, where as some companies just lock their games completely and take literally years to answer one customer support question (i have first hand experience with this with EA, i suppose you could call what I'm doing is less like pirating and more like boycotting) I don't want companies like EA to have my money to re-make the same game over and over again and charge the exact same price for it as last year and the year before.
