Can't seem to get the cheats to work, despite following the instructions. Using the Steam version; does this have anything to do with it?

i have the same problem man with the steam version cant get the trainer to work and im guessing they wont update this trainer since its a fairly old game just gonna have to cope without one

Maybe it will work if you put the ini file to "read only" after modifying it?

i bought splinter cell mega pack which includes, chaos theory, conviction and double agent with no steam app involved.

I also have the mega pack and it's version 1.05, the trainer expects version 1.5! I haven't check the splinter cell site yet, but I'm sure that's why it won't work. Just checked the site and the correct (current) version of Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory is 1.05. The trainer is looking for the wrong version !!!
