How can I distinguish between that? It has a mod-chip that's all I know. Its newly bought and I am not so good in knowing consoles. Any further guidance will be appreciated.

You just need to load the Gecko OS through the Homebrew channel and follow the directions on the trainer. We'll probably make a Wii Trainer Troubleshooting Guide soon that will step through everything.

You guys have really outdone yourselves, but I gotta ask, if you must go through Gecko OS to use the trainer, why not just use Ocarina cheats instead? They have a pretty good database full of cheats for just about every game the Wii has to offer except for One Piece: Unlimited Adventure *Hint Hint* *Wink Wink*

In that case I guess we shouldn't bother making any trainers for ANY game, PC or otherwise that has cheat codes or an alternate way of cheating. Excellent, that will lighten our workload by tons. thx!
