The anti-FO3 crowd usually comes from the FPS fanboys. It's true, playing through the main questline and calling it quits after that leaves you with a very short game. But that's thinking in the mindset of a FPS. Hooray, whiz-bang shooty fun.

Play the game like you would live your own life. Pick the clothes you would wear, the guns you would like, your own mother****ing haircut. Don't just run to follow the main quest, take the side paths, make friends with Dogmeat, talk to NPCs, learn the stories of the settlements, root out failed shelters, explore Pittsburg, Maryland, Adams Air Force Base, Anchorage, or Mothership Zeta. Play through the first few games, learn the story.

Lock Halo in the closet for a few months, get out of the FPS mindset.

But most of all, if you don't understand the story, read the front page of the goddamn booklet.

fo3 is one of the best games i have played ,yes kind of hard and frustrating until you build up your skills and weapons.i played the crap out of it and yea im board of it now, but if a new add on came out for it, i would be the first in line to get it. most of the time i find that people think something is lame because they cant do it very well or just plain cant hack it.

Unfortunately, Mothership Zeta was the last release for this game, excluding the GOTY edition. However, in 2010, Obsidian is releasing Fallout: New Vegas. It should be good, considering Obsidian is what remains of Black Isle Studios.

the game is lame. case closed

This whole thread is lame. Case closed.

@ZD: I agree, that's exactly what I do in FO3, I pick what I want to wear and what my house looks like, whether to be good or evil, people have been saying that it's all about the main quest and side quests, it's not. I mean, someimes I just roam the wastes in search of a raider gang I can anihilate or some talon mercs or rogue robots or something. This is why RPG is my favourite genre. You can be who you wanna be, and do what you wanna do. I completed bioshock yesterday. Note bioshock is an FPS. Sure it was cool and stuff, with the plasmids and the upgrades and what-not but still, when I finished it, I felt no desire to play it again. Whatso-ever. Maybe in a year when I think back and then decide to play it again, sure.

There's my last comment as this whole thread was just a huge troll.
