The speedy ship option doesn't seem to do anything in the strategic view. Maybe it only affects the ship battles.

It says to press it twice in the shipyard only, so I guess that's the only place it will work.

does the speedy ship option change the speed of all of the (say for instance) sloops in game or just your own?

speedy ship option doesn't seem to do anything, just changes the value on the shipyard screen, I've tried it in battle and out of battle with the cheat both on and off and I'm using Retail 1.01.
EDIT: tried to use the steam version 1.01 and it works just fine. However, the ship speed cheat and the cannon cheat simply raise the value and do nothing to the actual gameplay.

I remember there being a way to send files to you on the site, but i can't find it. So, instead, i sent you a mail with the exe. Well, i am sending. It's taking a little while to get moving.
