You don't have to buy the character creator feature- comes as standard. You just have to spend a bit of time playing through to unlock the clothing and the money to purchase it (just once & not per character)

Its a great fighting game, a lot better than some I have played on the 360- the only thing that's likely to top it is Tekken 6 when it comes out. It can get a little bit repetitive, but just get your mates round and have a good time.
