Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) Message Board  

I tried the new trainer for Patch #4 (1.0.4.0) of the game and it crashes the game once u enable a cheat after the trainers been activated. Is patch 1.0.4.0 been updated twice? because its released as a maintenance patch? Ppl care to share if the trainer's working 4 them?.

Working fine here. Make sure you're not using any hacked versions of the Windows Live and that your Windows Live is up to date. Disable antivirus, etc.

thank you, but that's the thing, im running plain old gta iv install from steam, was working fine now yesterday, but now its like all the memory changed

somethings definitely been updated, I'm running a fresh install of windows and the trainer simply is not working anymore and its crashing the game, no hacks no cracks, its vanilla gta iv

could xlive ( modded live dll ) stop it it disables live

no, modded xlive like xliveless causes incompatibility with the traner

We just re-downloaded and re-installed GTA4 from Steam. Current trainer worked 100%. Something else on your system must have changed.

everything updated including live. meh... i'll try downloading the trainer again and see if there's any difference.
