    Hi

I have tried the 1.06 trainer, and the crashing problem happens sometimes. Especially when you activate the repair weapon condition, entering new area, and exiting VATS. But generally it works.

If anyone knows the solution, please reply this post. Thanks

    My computer:

    AM2+ X4 Phenom 9650 Quad Core
    4G DDR2 800
    PCI-E Geforce 9500 1GB

    Windows XP SP3
    AVG antivirus enabled

P.S: I read some of the post about crashing, and some solutions such as changing files' name to block Xlive. But I think my case might be different.

    Thank you guys.

Well this is perhaps the only game that lets you save or play with XLive disabled, but it gives you more crashes ingame.

But the problem of yours is not different, you can still rename the catalog file and try it out.

    Original filename:-
    Fallout3.exe.cat

    Rename it to:-
    Anything like Fallout3.exe.dog

And if you want to play the game with XLive, keep in mind that the error message it gives you after detecting the Trainer is just a false alarm, so ignore it and Alt+Tab back to the game and continue.

And the trainer is flawless, I am using it and I have no complaints.

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

    Thank you

BTW, the same problem happens to GTA4, where sometimes game crashes when a certain trainer opinion is activated.

I think Xlive has some function to block incoming hacking command phrase (in this case, trainer).

Well till now, Fallout 3 is the only XLive game to date where you can disable XLive by renaming the catalog file. GTA IV is really tricky when it comes to XLive. So all I can suggest is use the XLive wrapper and use any trainer you want.
