master chief probably crashes in a big ball of fire into the planet reach in the next game REACH... but i doubt that cuz chief is floating in space with no direction, so he probably lands into a nearby planet, thus making the next Halo game after reach, but thats just my opinion
That planet at the end of Halo 3 isn't Reach. You can clearly see that the planet is developed, the light formations on the surface make that clear. Reach was totally glassed just before the start of Halo CE, it's nothing but a ball covered in molten glass now.

no cuz reach is just like odst so he odst and reach are weeks before the start of halo 3 when new mombosa is blown up by the profet
