when doing continous game with quests disabled the computer get all the oriental unlocks in matter for 10m, while i am unable to unlock them, theres nothing but honor gain and gold gain and buy ships in diplomat. The computer is around the same city level as me but still they unlock the oriental building in the first level, why the hell cant i do it.
In campaign you need diplomat scrolls.
I also chink the computer cheats its always one step ahead, wich is impossible without i get to city very fast.

take a visit when the game starts and look how quick he build city and other buildings.
no problem for me to unlock the oriental building (i allways builing two citys when i start = one in north, one in south).

Indeed just buy at the beginning the first scroll form the merchant and head you the oriental en deliver it.
You will get a ship that is provided with the main recources for a oriental village.
with this ship you go to an island and start an oriental city (not need houses first)....
you need noblemen and so on (in your other city), than the scrolls are more expensive and give more respect to the oriental guy.
you can buy max 4 scrolls at one time (50, 100, 250, 500 = 900 honor). 900 respect you can get max at one time by oriental guy. more respect = more bulings from oriental.
to build the oriental buildings, you need a special ammount of people (same in your other town).
