I would suggest cross-chop. You have more chances to hit the enemy than using dynamic punch.

yeah, especially if ur fighting elite 4 karen's lvl 47 houndoom for like the first time and u dont wanna get hit by flamethrower and die. cross chop isnt only more accurate but also has a high critical hit ratio

dynamic punch does lots of damage and it confuses afterward but try to get mindreader/lock on or you can teach it a move that increases accuracy because dynamic punch has extremely low accuracy
