Fallout 3: Point Lookout Message Board  

Anyone else having problem with the Super Weapons function on the new 1.6 trainer? All the other selections work just fine but everytime I try to select super weapons the game immediately crashes. 1.5 was no problem. Maybe I need to reinstall the game and go back to 1.5 although I don't know if that will adversely affect the Point Lookout DLC. I run on Vista SP2 64 bit with Nvidia Gforce GTS 250 OC 1GB GDDR3 video card on a Dell Studio XPS Pro machine. Just wondering if I was the only one with the problem. Thanks for any input.

Not just you. Both the Super Weapon and Durability functions crash the game instantly for me on 1.6 using the 1.6 trainer.

Edited to say - I only upgrade to 1.6 because 1.5 was giving me an issue under Point Lookout in which my character would "sink" into the floor when wandering parts of the wasteland, causing the camera to jump up and down. Rather than earn myself a bad bout of epilepsy, I updated, and 1.6 did not display the same issue. I'm on vista 64 as well.

Neither "2" or "-" work for me. Always crashes eventually. All others work fine.

Still crashes when I use it on a small arm.

Edit: I managed to super my pistol right after leaving the vault (Before the expansions initialize?) so it might be caused by the expansions.
