ok I posted my own thread but I will post something here as well. I downloaded the trainer to the dawn of discovery file with no subfolders. I am confused whether you press shift-1 ect. or use the num pad. any suggestions on how to get it working would be greatly appreciated.

That depends on what trainer you are using cause there are different trainers for this game.

yeah, the anno 1404 trainer uses the numpad keys as default, they are customizable though
