plz someone, anyone help me iv have tried everything and i just cant get console to open

i am runing XP
i don't have ANY wireless equipment
i tried disabling all the human inter face items in device manager
i checked the .ini "=1"
i tried the registry hack
i even tried three diffident mods to ether fix or rebind "~"

for "insert your god's name here" sake, HELP ME!

Just to be sure--do you have a media remote or the drivers for one installed?

nope, first thing i checked and to also i do have fose, it was need for the mods but that was after everything else and still no luck

When you hit tilde, does the game pause?

no nothing happens and I know the console is not opening in the lower left, same thing happens in KOTOR so im use to that

Well, I'm officially out of ideas.

Maybe you need to change your keyboard....
