To everyone out there, since the release of The Godfather 2 EA have released downloadable content, only for XBox360 and PS3, this is clearly an act of discrimination, I would like people to simply e-mail me with a quick response. so that I can forward this to EA. I am tired of being discriminated against simply because I use a PC rather than a console, what happened to equal rights or status.

I don't normally do this, but no one else is going to stand up to big corporate companies like EA. This is NOT flaming or spamming. this is a simple request. if people do not wish to respond, fair enough.

This topic should be within the CHU rules. if it is not, just delete the topic.

I recently e-Mailed EA, and they said that it was "Because the downloadable content is for PC is not booming" and added "perhaps there would be DLC in the near future, note, if you will, the word "perhaps." Now I understand, that, if there is DLC for PC it will most probably end up on one of the torrent websites, but they call this type of discrimination "business practice." Now, I own my own business, and I would never discriminate against anyone in this manner. This is similar to the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, where bethesda started charging people s they could download the add-ons, BUT, at least they did release them for PC. The majority of us went into GAME or GameStop and purchased the Knights of the Nine, and other such add-ons. EA never released their add-ons for the original Godfather game on PC and I doubt they will be releasing them for this title either. they released them only for console users, abandoning their loyal PC customers, no wonder piracy is on the rise.

Now, I don't condone the use of the torrent websites, but I don't condemn it either. And to be quit honest, from now on I am no longer supporting EA Games, I've spent, literally thousands on thier games, and this is how they repay me, and other people like me, it's a disgust.

As I have said before, if someone finds what I am doing here offensive, then the Admins can delete the post.

This so typical of EA they did this with the original Godfather. They only added content for the consoles. It is really a disgrace that they neglect the pc users. As soon as Apple buy out EA the better.

And if you want you can get a special little chip that goes snugly into your PS3 so you can play pirate games on it too. Oh, yeah, i do know about that, I've done my research on piracy. It's no small thing, piracy. Downloading "ROMS" for the NintendoDS, N64, SNES, Gameboy, PSP, PSOne and the list goes on, pirates do not just stick with the PC although companies like EA would have you believe that the PC is the only thing that pirates do. It's not just a disgrace, as far as I can see, it's discrimination against PC users, for what???

HAVING THE WRONG GAMES MACHINE???

It's a PC it's BETTER than a S**TBox360; Better graphics, better processor speed, better RAM speed/performance.

uh no. they do it due to GREED not piracy. its just a lame excuse to NOT give PC users same content as a X360/ps3 users.
