I found a fix for me
>its just simple just Go to device manager
>sound, video and game controllers
>find device with modem in its name
(i found this on the activision forums)
well it worked for me
there is no device with modem in its name
Dunnor if this would work at all but... have you tried a re-install?
nevermind it wont work i still dont know how to fix it

i have 7.1 surround but on some games like assasins creed it didnt work untill i set my windows sound to 2.1 (still came out 7.1) see if that works on this
i fixed it today. i reinstalled the game
I got a similar problem, but the sound is just too low volume, I have to put my speakers into the highest volume and no, its not the windows volume cause its all set to the top.
There's an option INGAME where you can set the audio latency up or down... try to experiment a little bit maybe it helps?
At the Vista System I hear the sound quietly too. At WinXP is it much louder with the same settings?! The game don't like Vista... and I don't like Vista too, isn't that funny ?!
