I got Sims 3 for my mac, and running the sims 3 on Mac OSX. Any suggestions on how to add the custom content to my game? HavenĀ“t found any tutorial or boards about it on the net.
LilMattie,
I found this site and might be able to help you out. It is called The Sim's Resource. I am not for sure if it has the procedure for Mac's but I am sure you can find out from there.
Plus all the items are FREE and you can download the custom made items from there.
As for the previous poster's comment about pirated content, I am not sure that is the issue here. I would have never said anything about the sim packs that I have if I thought it was illegal in any way. I read where the comment from EA was made about the pacs.
Maybe if we can get an official reply from EA, this issue will be put to rest.
The link to The Sim's Resource is [url]www.thesimsresource.com'>Link Hope this helps, Lil...
Unless I see an official statement from EA which says the store content can be shared legally, links to free store content will not be posted here.
Sounds good to me...

fair enough, but i just hope i dont suddenly get flodded with messeges for links.
For Vista users its C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads
For XP users it'll be similar but i cant remember, it'll be your my documents though
Just put all the files in there, load up the launcher, click downloads and select all and install them.
XP is the same... Well... Nearly:
My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads
