no, you can get to lake hylia without epona. there is a ladder on the side of the stone wall. climb that, and you can get to lake hylia.

It shoulnt matter if you get her or not..Depends on where you go...But you do need her once you get to guruedo vally to get across the bridge.

Wait a second. Actually you dont need to get Epona to jump over the guerudo valley bridge, yo can just hookshot across.

Yea, your right, but you can only longshot across with your longshot, you cant use your hookshot cuz its way too short

Why would you want to play the game without her. You can't get the biggeron sword or the last bottle without her. It makes it so much faster. I get her as soon as I'm older.
